This thread is about coop design...so I'm trying not to get into a whole "thing" about DE :) but to ease some minds... I use it sparingly. Around trees with ants, sprinkle it around my house to deter bugs, on vegie garden for afids ect., poop droppings to deter flies, sprinkle in nest boxes so...- rubie

Thanks for the info :) but I was just refrencing the stuff I didn't think of when designing my coop and the fact I need to build a storage place like @vehve love it love it !- rubie

Don't forget: broom, dust pan, diatomateous earth, scissors, place for heat lamps, medicine...ug and more. I have most of the chickining supplies together but not all. I didn't think about storage when designing coop but there are really great ideas on here and wonderful people who take the time...- rubie

This is great! I had an idea to do this too except yours is bigger and so much nicer.. I think chicken math should extend to the area where you need to store supplies...what size you think you will need just double or tripple it! Lol. Great job! Thanks for sharing :)- rubie
