    My 2 & 3 yr olds are molting but the biggest drop in eggs are the pullet Brown Leghorns. One or two eggs from ten pullets. They aren't molting.

    If they have pea combs there is a good chance they will lay green eggs.

    Oh a quick question as I am not familiar with this tree. I found a lone Holly oak in the portion of my property that is wetlands. Are the red berries harmful to chickens.

    I had a minor repertory problem go through my flock about a month and a half ago. A few runny nosed pullets, a broody that had expiratory gurgles. Everyone recovered with out intervention other that I kept a closer eye on everyone. Imo I feel that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger...

    I just had to share this with everyone that uses ACV. Walmart just starting selling Heinz Raw Unpasteurized Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar with the Mother. I was so excited I almost cried down my leg. It sure makes my life easier.

    Bee is right. Hog panels would be better for a 10' span. I tried to make it without the pvc but it's too floppy. The pvc helps hold its shape untill the end pieces are put on which also helps keep it's shape until it's tie wrapped together I use this for a grow out pen, isolation pen, ect...

    I used plain 2x4 welded wire and used pvc to support the hoops worked out well.
