    Bee, could I get some clarification? Not feeding or watering outside, is it because it attracts predators and/or chickens are less vigilant with heads stuck in the food trough?

    I had a border collie and enjoyed watching them work. Corgi's are great! I might not get to Stockton, but will look you up if I get to Bolado.

    I never considered leg color and I couldn't see the difference in feather condition. Thanks for an interesting lesson!
