    Has anyone heard of or using alfalfa as a 'booster' to start egg production in hens that have stalled for one reason or another? I was just reading another thread where some are claiming that this works for them. This is a new one on me, but I don't discount the possibility. Anyone tried this?

    Well, here's a try. Much like MFB, I'm still learning. Been around poultry of many species for 70+ years but still learning how much I don't know. 1) Let them be chickens above all else. 2) Don't name that which may become your food. 3) Don't rehabilitate human aggressive roosters...
