Yeah I have one that is taking over... she is running around like a nut pecking everyone, but no one is getting hurt like with the other barred rock. The one little serama has a stuff nose, but I gave her Tylan this morning.

They are so cute!!! I just went out to make sure that all heck hadnt broken out and what I saw was great! The babies are sleeping next to our new hens... the other girls where on the roost and everyone is happy YAY!!

Well I am sending her to a farm today. She is going to the place that I sent my rooster. He apparently is having problems fitting in and my hen just drop kicked my little chick! So hopefully they will make a nice pair at his farm... and no not on the xmas dinner table...

I think that they may be a mix or low quality BR's... I did all I could to handle them and everything but they just never wanted to be held. They are super independent and complain about the little babies... its so annoying.

I have a chicken friend that is going to look for me 2 buff orpys tonight at the livestock auction. He is going to watch them for a few days to see how they do, then we might do a trade. I hear that buffys are better with babies and other hens.

My rooster is fine. It is more the BR hens that are evil. lol

it has only been a week... but the other girls peck normally. These ones just seem crazy like always. I got them from a local breeder who I think bought the eggs off of ebay. The other girls peck them when they run around like crazy, or when they get to close to the food. Nothing like freaking...

I have two hens that are evil. They are meaner to the new chicks, they dont let me pick them up, and one hissed at me today while she was sitting on her egg. I would like to trade them for two other hens of a calmer breed, but would this just turn my coop into a nightmare?
