I had no signs of anything, then suddenly a pip, 2 hours later a zip. I've got one Swedish flower hen out and another pipped. I'm always convinced they are dead until something happens. Hang in there.
Must not open the bator...Must not open the bator. I may need to get out the duct tape. I've 15 Swedish flower hens on day 19 and I'm nervous as my three thermometers are all telling me something different. I hate having to switch the eggs to my still air for hatching!
I just candled the 16 Swedish that I set last week. 13 have veins. 2 might be growing, and only one looks clear. Finally got my last shipment in today-set 13 more eggs.
Day 10 for my sizzles and silkies. One wiggled a leg when I peeked in. Amazing how much they grow in just a few days. Set 16 more Swedish flower eggs yesterday. Waiting on one more shipment and my incubator will be full.
Here's what's in there:
2 of 4 sizzles
4 of 4 silkies
6 of 8 Swedish...
Ive got one batch a week in and am setting another either tomorrow or Saturday. Silkies, sizzles, and Swedish flower hens. I'm incubating in my new incubator and hatching in the old one.
