    That is a fantastic coop, Travs Girl!! I love it. Looks like your ducks do too!! Do you have any troubles with predators in the day time? Ldutch, this is the no. 1 question for all duck owners, LOL. How can they get the water so flithy and what on earth do I do with it? Very good question too...

    LOL, it looks like a swimming pool. Amazing to see that combination of crystal clear water....and ducks!!! Mine just look at the water and it's dirty.

    I hope you end up with something different too! Even black ducklings can look kinda grey at first (due to all the fuzz). As you say, it'll all become clear when they get their proper feathers :) Aw, they are so cute. How completely adorable.

    Cayuga ducks can hatch with a faint bib on the front but in pure Cayugas this disappears (by about 5 or 6 weeks of age). The presence of a faint bib si just something that goes hand in hand with black ducklings and doesn't mean the duckling is not a Cayuga. So, even the one with the bib could...

    Will be interesting to see how they turn out :) You are right that Khakis are much lighter as ducklings than your two are (in mentioning Khakis I just meant to say that yours might not be solid coloured but may have a slight pencilled pattern to the feathers, like Khaki and Dark Campbells do)...

    Those two little ones are going to turn out brown, without eye stripes. They may be solid brown (chocolate) or a bit patterned on the feathers like a Khaki Campbell. I agree that they do look a bit more upright than a pure Campbell but they don't have particularly Runner-like heads.
