    No, it's definitely the county. Anything less than 3 acres=no chickens. But that won't be stopping me. I've lived in this county my whole life (27 years) and my grandparents who have also lived here their whole lives raised meat birds every year

    I've just learned today that my chickens are illegal where I live in pry Port Republic. I'm still keeping my hens and ducks but I will rehome the roosters... Two doors down the DNR guy has goats, right behind us another guy has chickens. I'm really not too concerned about getting caught seeing...

    Hello from Calvert county! Just getting started with this chicken thing. We have 13 teenage birds and now 5 more chicks in the brooder. We buy organic food at a loyal feed store if anyone has trouble finding any. Anyone else from southern Maryland?
