i'm going to do a experiment on some meat birds in a month or so. I'll be taking 8 birds i'll have a control group that gets FF and one that doesn't then we will see what happens i will be taking crazy records and filming the whole thing if anyone wants to see the updates on you-tube.
lol's i think their is a way if you use bread with a certain process but i have to check back on the note i made but i prefer the pre-made stuff at the Doctor office
what was the study called and who did it? What was the LD50% and what journal was it published in? I really don't care about opinions i want facts and numbers! if you have hard proof that's fine but i want the cold hard facts to do my own research
it is my experience that if a bird stops laying in the middle of laying season if possible i would separate her from the flock, make sure she has grit, start her on electrolytes and worm her. then check her over for mites, peeling skin, feather loss and feel her crop is it hard and huge or is it...
have you tried giving them a electrolyte formula along side their normal water like save a chick? My grams swears by it but the larger packets for larger flocks are at most feed stores it really helps the girls with egg production while they are having heat stress.
heat stress can be a killer so next time if you can i would suggest putting them on a electrolyte formula along side your normal water they have the bigger packets at most feed-stores if you have allot of birds my grams swears by the save a chick brand
Peace bro.i didn't slap your mother i just don't know anything about fermenting feed the video i saw on youtube looked liked the feed was moldy to me but i guess he and i were wrong.
idk i'm still on the fence about fermenting the feed i was always taught by my grams never to feed a chicken anything rotten if the feed got wet or moldy i was told to throw it away or put it into the compost pile
