    Is she caring for the chicks or still brooding? I'd kick her off for a couple minutes I think. (not sure that's right but that's what I'd do) Check the crop of one chick maybe it ate when you weren't looking that pictured chick looks full of food.

    I'd put food and water close to them, they -can- live about two days w/o food, less w/o water...
