Having chicks shipped in the mail always come with some risks. Some hatcheries will put a few extra, but I don't think MPC does. Either way, I'd recommend ordering a few extras. It's highly likely you'll loose one somewhere along the way. Generally, the closer the hatchery the better...

Interestingly, the breed availability is the same for Meyer and MPC, down to the available date and quantity availability. Now, I didn’t check all them, but of the 10-20 I checked, it was exactly the same. MPC may have some of their own stock, but it sure looks like they’re sharing.
