Not much gardening going on here this year, do have seven feed tubs with tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers. Planted some trees earlier this spring and it has been a wet summer so far so they are doing well. -

I'm thinking it's going to depend on your chickens. Leghorns and similar cover your beds. Some of the quiter chickens the 2 or 3 foot fence should work depending on what they have to keep them busy and how long you leave them. But there is always going to be that one trouble maker. -

The geranium seed I planted is starting to come up, the onions should be peeking up soon. Baby chicks arrived yesterday from Hoovers in good shape and are happily hanging out in the brooder. -

I priced sheep and goat fence the other day and liked to have had a heart attack. Two by four welded wire isn't any cheaper, electric netting is about the same price but it has built in post. I have to do something for the dogs when we move they can't be loose like they are here most of the time. -

I had a luffa one year that had saucer size blossoms like crazy, never had a luffa on it. I never seen one have blooms like that before or grow like that one did. Grandma raised Chinese okra, she wouldn't eat a gourd. :) -
