I hatched out 10 babies, 4 went to their home with a neighbor. Here are the babies:

Here are pictures of Lucky, only one who made it out of our hatch. Luckily I have 2 eggs due to hatch out on Friday. Lock down is on Tuesday so keeping our fingers crossed for Lucky to have some friends! She is a red sexlink/Speckled sussex cross. Parents are in my avatar (:
Our chick Lucky, the only one who made it. She is 5 days old now (: She looks just like an SS chick except she is more red. She is a Speckled Sussex/ Red Sexlink.
She will have a few Silkie friends in a week (:
These are our first eggs that hatch. Love watching them hatch but it's hard not to just intervene. But so worth it! I think its more rewarding hatching out eggs. These are from our girls so it's interesting to see what they grow up to be (:
my first ever hatch. Started the hatch on day 19 finished beginning of day 20 (today) hopefully the others will come out soon,too!

might be a red star then, the red stars are now 12 days old. I'm new so i cant really tell for sure if yours is a red star or rhode island red. but a red star is just a cross from a rhode island red, so pretty much the same thing. I think red stars might be calmer?
