LOST AND SAD DUCK AT THE PARK
I had two dumped today and one has fishing line and a sinker attached to his bill already. :( I am trying to arrange a rescue, but if I can't they have to stay there as I can't take them, unless to the animal shelter. I've found homes for so many this year that no one can take any more.- desertdarlene

The duck is very stressed out and probably confused and scared. Some birds will scratch and pull feathers or down out of stress. It sounds like its human imprinted, which means it was probably dumped there.- desertdarlene
