Thank goodness mine were all older...I had a 16 year old and a 7 year old when our first chicks arrived :) I do have pics of my son putting his favorite cochin mix in the back of his little tikes truck...our friend's 3 yr old loved giving her a ride :) Sorry about the poor quality..the sun...- leadwolf1

Toddlers are notorious for thinking that they are being gentle but, if the chick squirmed, he would squeeze. I am hoping that your little chick makes it... I'm glad you put a lock on the brooder.- leadwolf1
