He's only 4 days old today... :lau The stork brought me 7 chicks on Tuesday from MyPetChicken, 3 of them BOs, one male and two females. He's been named Prince Poppycock. He's definitely different from the two others like him - it's really amazing they can be correctly sexed when they're so tiny!
Oh my! Sounds like he had it coming the little bugger! :ep I chose a Buff Orpington rooster in hopes of avoiding aggressive behavior. I hope I made the right choice.

Aww, so sorry to hear about your lilacs :hugs We didnt get any rain or hail here today, but the bazillion grasshoppers in my yard are tearing my potted tomatos, strawberries, and flowers to shreds - they look just like your lilacs :th My husband put some triaz-oh-whatever down around the patio...

The four at home now are (I think): one White Sex-Link, one Brown or Speckled Sussex, one Silver-laced Wyandotte (i hope, i hope, i hope!), and one chocolate brown mystery chick. Im pretty confident they are all females, but the sales girl at Big R wasnt too convincing regarding their breeds...
