What breed of chicken is this? I have two that I got from a friend who was moving, and couldn't keep their flock, and I haven't been able to figure out for the life of me what breed they are. lol

Not that I ever suspect her to get mean, but the contract (through Dream Power) makes it a federal (or state, I can never remember which) crime to eat them.... just shows how much I love my babies :) lol

my ducks were thrilled with their new indoor swimming pool in the coop ( the lower 1/2 of the coop ) and my polish rooster was clinging to the roost.... soaking wet, i had to use a blow dryer to warm and dry him off XD

This Saturday ( the 30th) there is a big poultry sale up at the County Fair Grounds (Calhan). There will be birds for sale from local 4-H kids, everything from chickens to Turkeys, gees, and ducks.
