What characteristics tell you that? It would be cool to know for future reference. What characteristics mark a lavender?
Do any of these pics make it easier to see?
He's not a lavender amerucana, he's an ee. Lavender amerucanas won't have any other color on them, your pretty boy has...

He looks like a american brown leghorn to me but if he does have muffs, he could be a cross of something with amer brown leghorn. Just a guess but he is absolutely gorgeous
Male brown leghorns have a black breast. :)
Need a better picture (closer) but since he has a name of chubby cheeks I am guessing he has muffs so not a leghorn. He is also the wrong color for a leghorn, but he is pretty no matter what he is. Good luck with him.
If his brother has a single comb, they could be olive eggers a mix breed probably done with ee or ameraucanas and marans or some other brown egg layer with a heavy body and feathered shanks
With all my roosters and everyone else's roosters around me, I have to stop and listen for them now. And there's quite a few roosters where I am. If I stop and listen, I can hear them from what sounds like a ways away into the woods.
