Wow my Phoebe in the avatar is just over 2 years and she's laid maybe 8 eggs since last year. She is a good sitter and will sit on everyone elses eggs for them and she will go in and sit as if she is going to lay, does this daily she is not bound just barren.

I posted these pics in a thread I started little bitty eggs before I seen this one. Have now been given two very little eggs. The top one is actually smaller than the brown one we got today. A couple of days before the top egg was laid the same hen laid a huge 31/2" extra large double yolker...

That is REAL pain...How is the hen that laid that is she going to get the week off to rest or a nice warm soak.

You are so right,they do drop some surprising gifts. The one my girl gave was very soft and it was only the white inside, your shell looks harder. she still has not laid a normal egg as a matter of fact she as not dropped anything since two days after when she may have dropped another soft...

I will show you what one of my girls dropped, doesn't it look like a chicken toe? yes you do want to do this it is as fun as it can be frustrating at times.

Looks like twins. I guess anything is normal for them it just depends on the day.
