No dice on the final two :( I cracked them open and it looked like that had quit late in the game. The three that did hatch are super cute and are napping/running/napping like chicks do.

Eggs from cjwaldon are due to hatch today - 5 out of 8 made it to lockdown. 3 hatched so far - 2 girls and a boy. The other two are not doing too much. I will give them another day or two and hope for the best. Wahoo - first chicks from the autosexing swap! I will have some Rhodebars laying...

Yes, they are all crested. The rooster has a nice straight comb (which I consider a bit of a personal triumph) and I have been getting some very bright blue eggs these days. Thanks for the intro babymakes6! I appreciate it.

This is a great thread! I will keep watching and once the weather cools a bit will be able to put some crean legbar eggs on offer. It was over 100 degrees down here today, so shipping eggs seems like a losing proposition right now.
