what are the silkies eating? other than game bird food, whatever the silkies are eating might be your best bet. when he/she starts making sounds, a 2 syllable sound "buck wheat" sound indicates female, all other sounds could be either boy or girl. not sure I would stress her tomorrow by...- KrisH
