Oh this wind, rain and overall storminess! My poor chickens are getting blown around, and there is no keeping anything dry. I'm in North Bend, so we get the best of both worlds, lots of rain, and colder winters. This will be our first winter and from what I'm reading/learning the chickens are fine with the cold, as long as they are not wet. Hmmm, nothing is ever really dry around here from Nov to June! We got our first bit if snow too The boys were out making a snowman by 8. I think they have really been missing the snow the last few years. It reeked havoc on my coop and run though (pulled down the netting, got everything and everyone wet in the coop). But my girls didn't seemed too bothered...- blumenmadchen
