I am in need of help, have been looking for amprolium doses and I an so confused, I have seen for 20% to use 1/2 teaspoon per gallon and also seen 1.5 tablespoons per gallon? And his long is it good for once mixed? I only have 5 chicks
I have two cockerels if any one is interested. One is a pet quality blrw, and one is an araucana rumpless single tufted black breasted red. Have them listed on cl but wanted to offer them to anyone here who might want them. Pm me for pics or if interested.
Blrw/3-4mo old
I don't want lap chicken friendly just nice easy to manage pets, I like wyandottes mostly blr or golden, I am in montesano.
Thanks that makes me feel more confident. I have had back luck with straight run chicks being mostly cockerels, so I was looking at older chicks
Of course that is my favorite chick, hope it is just hard to tell, I got it with a blue Orpington of the same age and it was obviously a cockerel at 4wks! Seems like 4 out of my 5 chicks might be cocks :(
Thanks for the advise! I am new to chickens and I wanna do it "right". I only have 4 chicks of mixed ages, they are free to go outside in an enclosed area during the day.

3p soft white wheat

1p hulled barley
1p oat groats
2p sunflower seeds
1/2p peanuts
1p wheat bran
1p split peas
1p lentils
1p quinoa
1p sesame seeds
1/2p kelp
1/2p millet
I have been lacto-fermenting that and chick starter, so...
