    the original hen I started with was a poor quality white laced red Cornish Bantam and the rooster was a e^b/e^wh large fowl EE. Would it be more beneficial to start over with a pure ameraucanas? And maybe incorporate this bloodline later?

    I'd use the first one, color is pretty easy to fix and even if he is S/s that is easily fixed just breed him to hens that are for sure gold based, maybe breed him with some regular wheaten hens just to be sure?

    Im expecting about 50% with one copy that look mostly wheaten, however the mom is split for partridge and has one Pg gene and one CO gene, so that might do some weird stuff. She's a small hen because her mom was a bantam but I'm hoping for better size and type from her with this new wheaten...

    Blue and lavender should Not be crossed, lavender is rescesive and blue is dominant so if you cross them all you will get is blues anb blacks all split for lavender breed those together and you won't be able to distinguish between the lavenders and the blues very well there are more problems but...
