    Unfortunately, it may have been a “dump” Jeff and New Albany have been really bad in recent years about code enforcement on backyard poultry especially roosters ☹️.

    Yes several looked nice and healthy. They also had some olive egger, chocolate egger etc. Not sure you’re locale….but this was at the Jeffersonville store.

    Just an FYI……I’m in southern indiana (near louisville ky) I’m going to have a new batch of coturnix quail hatching end of July-early August if anyone interested in chicks 1-5 weeks. I’m also getting about 18 eggs per day of mixed colors if anyone interested in hatching

    while they can be free ranged together, it’s not a good idea to keep them together or to keep turkeys in an area that previously housed chickens due to risk of blackhead. I only raise a few BB turkeys for meat each year. if meat is not your main objective, you will want to find heritage...
