Had to get rid of one egg today. The baby duck died in the shell. :/ I am nervous about the others even more now!

OMG they are adorable! :D Congrats on the babies! I have 6 days left. I candled the eggs last night and you could see the babies moving around. I am so excited.

The day they are scheduled to hatch I would just check several times and pull the poults and brood them in the house with it being so cold.

I love orps so much. but if you raise them and talk about them on here some people just get to fussy about them. Some people can be cruel Lol. so what if someones bird doesnt meet standards, dont critize it because you dont like it.. Some stuff on here gets taken to serious I believe.

It would have be awesome to have had a hatch today.. but I woke up to snow :( that is the only times I hate having birds, Its so cold and the snow is so slick going down the hill in my back yard I usually end up on my money maker.. so yea But I cant wait til your eggs hatch you will have to post...

I love silkies. I would like to find a few to use as broody hens. I sold my white rocks and said I was not going to get anymore chickens. I have built 6 pens, 24 duck eggs in the bator, 50 chicks ordered for spring and a friend is giving me some turkey eggs. LOL..

Super excited. I set 24 duck eggs this morning. Lets see how well it works out. I have never have hatched ducks. So i am excited to see how this goes..
