I'm with you guys! People don't understand that I enjoy some quiet solitude. I'll be outdoors hanging with the ducks just puttering about and I'll come in to text messages galore. "Where are you?" "I've been trying for 2 hours." I get back to them and it's nothing that can't wait. Sheesh!

@EdenCamp - lol...wow, how do you keep track of all that?? Reading your post above definitely confirms that I don't speak the language of chicken keeper.

very true...someone around here had guineas...now they just roam the neighborhood and WOW are they loud!!

It's darn Bill's fault. I heard he's broken loose from TX a bit and bringing us more rain. Drat...sorry no float trips! The sunshine here is already gone, too.

@ChickenCanoe - I believe that brightness in the sky is possibly being caused by something called sunlight. I could be wrong, though. Maybe the moon is glowing.

@cppeace - Hello there! If you haven't yet, I recommend a visit to Bennett Springs State Park. It's somewhere near you...lol, I can't recall where exactly. It's a beautiful park! My ducks are loving all the puddles, but if I don't get the grass mowed soon, I'll be needing some goats!

Hello Missouri BYC peeps! I'm a new member and new mom to 4 ducklings that were a week old yesterday. I haven't yet figured out how to get my location to show. I'm in Jefferson County (southwest-ish) of St. Louis County.
