hi, I also have not been on for a year or so. I am in Cabool... about 65 miles east of Springfield. Has anyone else noticed all the turkey stories. Laying and hatching. Is anyone else in this part of the country got turkey eggs yet. Geese have been laying for a couple of months.

Where are you at that is supposed to get snow? I don't think we are. I am in Cabool. I know I have to stop and keep any hatching this year.. Ducks and geese are expensive to winter. We are. Buying 150 pound a of chops.. Twice a week, can not get any more.... And my hubby's gripes too, but...

We let ours out today and the chickens will NOT come out. They did run out as I was putting hay down in the back room. The geese and ducks and turkeys however..... They LOVE the snow!!
