    Everyone has good ideas. And no one seems concerned with bumble foot, which was my main concern. So...I'm going to go ahead and lay it down. I went and got a remnant piece of non-adhesive flooring. It's supposed to really stay put when laid, and then I could take it out if I need to. Thanks...

    Thanks everyone for your help.I've decided to go ahead and put it down. I will run it up the sides a little as was recommended. I am using the non-adhesive type, so I can take the whole thing out if I want. Then I'll top with straw or shavings. I was just mostly worried about bumble foot.:D
