    My silkies and mystery chick (cochin???) are almost 2 weeks old now. Any guesses on coloring? ALL of them have white wing feathers coming in, did i seriously pull 5 white silkies and another white one out??

    If they have black skin and 5 toes per foot- silkie. :) I was first in my store and pulled out 5 silkies and a possible Cochin. Need to stay far away now! Unless they get polish... Or more silkies...

    mine got there's this morning finally, 3 days late! they only look a day old though so i'm guessing they just didn't ship until now... I got there 30 min after they arrived! first one to choose so i pulled out the 5 silkies they had and i think a bantam cochin that is having a hard time...

    STILL no chicks at mine... Guy on the phone was just as confused since they were told monday... i know the bins are set up and signs said "featured breed" which is exciting because last year they didn't do that...

    I'm in California. Last year was the first time we had a TSC around here and they had HUNDREDS of chicks. Of course the people working had no clue what was what and several tried to sell me "pullets" that were obviously roosters, and "bantam" is a breed... I wish they'd tell y what came in in...

    I called the local store and they said chicks are coming next week!!! Of course they couldn't tell my anything more than that... I can't wait to see them!!!!! Going silkie hunting :D Has anyone ever seen Polish show up at theirs? Now that would be nice!
