All mine so far are production reds. With 2 EE's thrown in the mix to add color to the cartons. HAHAHAHA Oh and one Delaware I just got. She's not laying yet.
I don't have to refill but every other day. I use crumbles but in those hanging feeders they bill food all over. So I bought those square hog feeders at TSC. If you don't fill them they don't do that. Going to get the long ones for $14. Then maybe I won't have to fill it but every 3 or 4 days.
This is all true. You ask everybody here and it's all different. You feed your chickens what is best for them. I experimented and found flock raiser no matter the cause best suits my chickens under all there situations. So that's what I go with.
