well i was gonna run extension cords to coop in back yard and plug inside my house just wonderin how can i attach a timer to inside house so as not yo keep waking up at 4am to plug in cord for light
this is my first time raising chicks its a fun xperience but sumtimes a little frustrating lol i hope my 8 chicks lay well for me but was told that they may not put out full production the first time and have lots of patience

i was given 25 lbs of starter feed to start for 6 weeks and almost out now lol its only 8 chicks but man do they eat i love eggs especially fresh but never had the chance to eat one right out of the chicken
i will call feed store tomorrow and find out what type of starter feed i have and what percentage the protein is but she told me today to feed them the same feed i have for 4 months
no recommendations just plain brown bag from feed store where i bought chicks at 3 weeks old they are pretty happy and content my brooder box is 2' high and today my wife said a couple of them are flying out lol they are in my utility room in a 3'x4'x2' high carboard box dont know if they can...
sorry mac like i mentioned im reallll new at this my chicks are on chick starter didnt know that feed would start them laying then switch to layer feed im told to keep them on chick starter for 16 weeks
