the link I posted was new info presented in May 2017 .. study done on feeding meat to monkeys and they got CWD... Different states are now changing recommendations.
by me several tested that they had the disease and the hunter said they acted ok and looked ok... by the time the test came back we had eaten some and since they had said it was ok to eat the meat we didn't worry about it... until now :hit
read an article on CWD in deer meat... and thought I would share since it is in my area and I am sure others also... good to be informed so we can make educated choices

my chickens dug up the yellow jackets after the first frost and wiped them out... they had a ground nest in the chicken yard and everyont avoided the nest until the adults were gone.. but got the next generation before they emerged
Ha when I climbed out of the playpen my mom locked me in a dog run when working outside... It was 8'x20 something and in the shade... between that and touching the electric fence, when told to stay away from it... I learned to listen to what I was told or there was consequences LOL
anybody even seen a wild ground hog with such bad teeth.. she looks like a saber tooth
she was in good shape other wise, but I think she would have had a lot of problems later... she looked fairly young.. never had nursed and limber enough to climb a skinny tree
I gave her to a taxidermist...
look for a feed mill or co-op they have the best prices

the chickens love tomatoes, overripe zukes. cukes and pumpkins ... I still have pumpkins I got for free that they are eating.
my tomatoe cages are old 4' fencing cage over a t post
