Yes, it was the chance I took. She also came from Meyer but I think it's partially that she's really bossy and partial that the brahmas are so timid. My buff brahma just always gives the Dellie lots of space.

The hubby and I have pretty much decided to cull our mean pullet. I'm still very hesitant. I'm worried once she's gone, someone else will step up and be the mean one. Or maybe I'm just trying to rationalize dragging my feet. This is totally new to me.

I'm going to try hatching eggs and process Roos. I think it's the best of both worlds for a first time process. Might try Cornish next. Like you said, TSC has them so they'll be easy to find.
Makes sense that these meat birds could potentially live long enough to reproduce. Otherwise they would be extinct!
