Is it blood (like bright red), or is it just "pink"? I've noticed that my Cornish X tend to shed more intestinal lining that average. Here is a link to the "chicken poop page" it shows a wide range of normal poop, and what isn't normal. http://chat.allotment-garden.org/index.php?topic=17568.0
I've never done rabbits, but I've seen it done. I've heard they're actually easier to process than chickens (at least physically maybe not mentally or emotionally ) My dad knows how to do them, (@srm220 ) I'll see if he has any advice.
Ouch!!! $7 or even $5 each is expensive. I know their...
We processed our last Cornish X rooster today, and did an EE roo that started crowing (Both almost 14 weeks old). I wonder if the EE will taste different than the Cornish X.
The size difference is crazy. EE was about 2.5 pounds after -- CC was over 9

Oh, good idea!! I was mostly thinking those big turkey fryers that were super popular a couple years ago, or a steam canner pot. I'll start keeping my eyes open for a tamale steamer.
I got my my first meat birds this year, and helped process 4 of them last week. They are Cornish X, so I think that makes it way easier. You can't tell them apart, and they are all white, so you don't form as much of an attachment to an individual bird. I'm going to eat chicken either way. I...
