Yes, I love it here! (Used to live in Revere, so know what you mean about crowded.) We live right on the woods, so get to see all kinds of wildlife here, too.

Just put my guys in this, using stuff we had around the house (until the coop if finished, as the weather has been so bad, we have not been able to do any work on it.) I have 10 chickens (8 regular, 2 bantams).

Great ideas, but I don't have a garage, so they are in my living room. They are in a 4ftx almost 3ft graco pack and play, which we put a solid bottom and made a top. So far, so good, but man they are getting big...here they are as of last night!

They are only just over a week old, and a few are younger then that, so cannot go into that (which is on my screen porch) until they are feathered, which isn't until about 7 weeks or so, correct? They will need to be in something big before that. Just didn't realize they grow this fast! lol

I can lay it on its side, but they will just be on wire that way, is that ok? I just want them to be ok and happy! Thank you.

I was told they should stay indoors until about 8 weeks, so trying to figure out what to put them in in the interim. I thought I could use the cage I posted, but now hearing it isn't big enough?

This is what I was thinking of using, it is 6x6x3 (will make the bottom solid, it is covered in 1/2" wire and is on my screen porch). I have 10, 2 of which are bantams. Also what are the dimensions of yours? TY!

My guys are still little (1-2 weeks) but am getting confused on what should be used for a grow out pen. Can anyone please post pics of their grow out pens? I have 10 chicks (8 regular size, 2 bantams) and am trying to figure out what they can go into after the brooder, but before the coop...
