There is a big variety of "CB" loads on the market now.
They come in several bullet weights, and velocities vary from around 500 FPS up to over 900 FPS.
One even uses a 60 gr bullet in a 22 Short case, to give the same overall length as a 22 LR

Small caliber air rifles are not reliable killers of larger animals.
It's just a fact
Anyone can make a LUCKY shot once in a while.
Don't confuse that with "reliability"
