    There is a big variety of "CB" loads on the market now. They come in several bullet weights, and velocities vary from around 500 FPS up to over 900 FPS. One even uses a 60 gr bullet in a 22 Short case, to give the same overall length as a 22 LR

    That's only if you use non lead pellets With lead , its just 1000 fps For the $300 it costs, you can get a nice 22
