hi everybody, just an update that my hen is doing SO much better after the calcium and vitamin boost over the past week. better looking eggs, she's not struggling to lay them, and she's laying them in the right places again. i had no idea she was so deficient, we raise them so well. i guess...
okay! thank you TwoCrows i'll definitely be in touch with more questions, and will repost here in a couple of weeks about how she's doing. I hope she'd go broody, but she's really not the broody type :)

Thanks. Have you ever seen the straining issues with a calcium deficiency? do you have any sense of how long before i should seeing a change? Would help me to try and narrow down on the diagnosing.
