they do look like blues... of course we will have to wait for them to grow some feathers to know for sure how they turn out.... They are definitely SUPER cute! I love the blue chicks! I think they are the cutest color!- Alaskan

Well, the brown coming through means he/she is not to standard. If you have any other choices, it would be best not to use them for breeding. If they are all you have, I do not know how hard it is to breed-out.- Alaskan

Hummmm That much redness would worry me a little, but, by that age there should be more growth in the comb with a boy. So, I would guess that it is a girl, but watch it closely....maybe not.- Alaskan
