Maybe. She's almost always the first one to the water, and she drinks a lot more than other ducks.... She's more of a waterfowl then the other ducks, who prefer to sit in the shade and pant. -

I don't know... I got her from Murray McMurray, they didn't say anything about it either way. But then they show a painting of Rouens with their crops hanging down to the ground, probably 'cause they're supposed to be meat ducks. At least I think, they don't do a very good job of it -

Last year my Rouen (called Gertrude) learned to fly. I would have fun racing the ducks to the coop while she zipped past my head (and beat me to the chicken coop.) This year she seems to have lost interest in flying though.
