I have not seen a cuckoo maran with feathered legs. Ours are still young, 10 weeks and 6 weeks. Our oldest is queen bee and doesn't LOVE being held but tolerates it, especially if you have treats. :) our younger one seems to be very curious and is no push over but never goes looking for...- rookiefarmers

Its from a hatchery right!? They have a lot more color outside the normal areas. I have two and both have grey and black in areas that should be white... as they have gotten older they have become more and white. As for the Australorp looks like a pullet to me.
