    Congrats! Today I did 22 pints of green beans [now I have 63 pints done], 7 pints of sweet chip pickles and 6 quarts of dill pickles. And made a cherry crisp for dessert

    Jack Daniels Apple Butter aprox 50 apples 2 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp allspice 1 tsp nutmeg 2 cups Jack Daniels 2 lbs brown sugar Core apples. Place in hotel pan [I use my turkey pan]. Mix rest of ingredients together and pour over apples. Cover with parchment paper and foil. Bake for 2 hours. Put...

    Thanks Nova I know I read about it somewhere and I am trying it today. Just put 6 quarts in the oven. I left the other 1 & a half in the pantry as I am sure it will get used before it goes bad.

    Seems like I remember reading on here that you can can flour and dry goods. Can you do that with pancake mix? I just bought a 10 lb bag of krusteez and since it's just DH and I, I want to either freeze it or if possible, can it. I am running out of room in the freezer.
