We had some hot day this weekend but nice today. Now I know our hot has nothing on the east hot. I'm going to be getting stuff to can next week and maybe this weekend. I didn't get a garden put in the weather was so rotten, than of course I hurt my ribs. I did can some strawberry and raspberry jam
So do you all freeze your food after its been dried? I was reading the info I got with my Nesco and it said after your dry than freeze. Whats with that? Couldnt I just use a food save for it?
so has anyone used the wax stuff in jam jars? I found a whole box of jars that lids dont match so Im thinking thats what they were used for. They came from my mom the paper they were wraped in was 1995. I sure dont want to toss them..
