Finally started construction on the run. We got 3 sections of hardware cloth up last night. It will be completely enclosed and buried a foot down. Trying to find a good bright blue color for the door to the run.
I found them on craigslist. Someone pulled them out of an old trailer and I thought they'd be perfect for our coop. I'm happy with how they turned out.

Yes! We still aren't done, but it's secure enough for the chickens to sleep in it at night now with the windows closed. We have 1/2 in hardware cloth over the vents on the underside of the roof and will be covering the inside of the windows as well as doing an attached 8x16 run and the underside...
