Cocci, yes. IB, again yes, my original flock came with that little present...TSC special, ya know? I don't think it's IB and the reason I say that is there are 60 birds in the same brooder and only 1 is showing the neck and 'caw' thing. When my flock first showed the signs of IB it was a...
Used the flashlight and all I could see was the normal rosey color of any warm blooded animal. No worms, Y shape or otherwise. Visual of throat shows nothing either. I am thinking this is respiratory, but I am not going to rule out the gapes.
I am kinda between a rock and a hard place...
Lol, brilliant minds think alike.....I just found a posting from Dawg53 where he describes this and how it's done. I also found something from Orono that says you can transilluminate the neck are to see them that way. We're on it. None of the other symptoms though....I'll know in a few...

I have a 4 week old Blue Laced Wyandotte that is doing something I have never seen before. Every 15 - 20 mins., she will put her neck out and make a noise similar to a baby crow.
Two days ago this bird had a slight clicking sound coming from the beak when she breathed. There was no sound...
