I had a hen poop something like that so I treated her with Corid and Safeguard and the blood went away, so I can't say for sure what it was. -Kathy- casportpony

When referring to the protozoa, it's probably best to just write coccidia or coccidiosis instead of cocci, IMO. -Kathy- casportpony
