Yes, with watermelon or most any other type of melon it is fine to feed them the whole sheebang or just the seeds - they looove it! I use the cheapo misters that you can buy at Home Depot to keep my girls cool (and egg production up) this time of year. Just buy one of the $25 kits and it hooks...
