Well I got this one finished, I did not know that so much time had passed since we finished these. I backed this with fleece, did a little applique and a bit of fmq. My eldest DD has dibbs on this one.

rockingbearranch, since I live about 12 mile from where they hold the Pendelton round-up, I bet a lot of the fabric would be nearly the same even though we are at different end's of the U.S.

Kat, I sent off my blocks for this swap today. I marked them on the inside due Nov.15th. Such fun, now on to the next one!!

I'm really going to miss working on these blocks, every time I do I start to hum and then sing(yuck) an old song from the 50's or early 60's "Cherry pink and appleblossom white". I think I will make 10 more blocks so it is a good full size quilt.

Found new use for chick grit, I always have left-overs then can't find it when I need it next. Make pincushions, place the grit in the middle, wrap in light batting and then stuff your pincushions. The batting keeps the grit inside and the grit will keep you pins and needles sharp without...

I have most of my components done for this one. I going to try to have it done before the cold weather sets in @Oct 15 around here. I never know what the cold will do to my arthritic hands. I will set the next one or two swaps out so I will know for sure that I can handle the holiday stuff this yr.
