    I agree with this, I was home alone the first time I had to cull a chick and I cried like a baby :'( Sometimes its a necessary evil when we "farm" we have to be ready for the death too :( I can't say it gets much easier as I've had to do it more

    Update on mine, on my 7 day candling I had to throw out 10 eggs that didn't develop at all, they were either just not fertilized or something was wrong with them, a few had that "spotted" look to them when candling and the ones I threw out hadn't developed AT ALL. So that leaves me with 24 eggs...
