    Discolored beaks and sneezing

I would like to think so. But it's so strange in the fact it isn't super viral. Of 15 birds, only 6~ are sneezing, 4 have discoloration and only 3 have discharge.

    Discolored beaks and sneezing

It's the same in animals. Clear discharge isuzually ok. Purulent is not, especially green. Smell is never good. However, bad snot usually comes with lethargy or atleast decreased appetite. I guess I will have to text the vet. See what he says.

No swelling noted. Decreased egg production, but that could be chalked up to heat too

    Discolored beaks and sneezing

Hmm, thank you for that, Bee. Thats really interesting. I think I have erthymcin in the kitchen. Can't remember if its that or tetramycin. It does say its easily killed by heat, and we've been having 100*+ days. So that leads me to wonder? Also, no other symptoms besides the discharge and...

    Discolored beaks and sneezing

Thank you both! We have had 100* + days, for about 4 weeks. I don't *think* I have any mold in the coops, I do fairly frequent bedding changes, but that doesn't mean anything. The pullets were in one coop, and moved them into the large coop. However, the viral infection def makes sense, just...

    Discolored beaks and sneezing

A few weeks ago I brought home a pullet that was sneezing. Hadn't been sneezing, started when I was driving home. When I got home and unloaded her, into quarantine, I noticed another one of my pullets sneezing. A coon got all but 1 (sneezing) pullets I had in quarantine. Figured since I had...
